🎬 Intro & Background
What is your name, where are you from, and where in the world are you currently based?
I was born in what is now Belarus and lived half my life in Israel. Have has been calling Australia home since 2002.
What is your professional background, and what occupies most of your time today?
I hold a Master in IT and a graduate certificate in cybersecurity (as well as a bunch of industry certifications) and have worked in various aspects of technology my entire adult life. This was primarily tech consulting and tech auditing (including in the “big 4”).I also worked for almost a decade in digital marketing and have run my own agency for a while.
Following my “awakening” during Covid, I thought I could add a unique perspective to the conversations happening in the alternative/independent media space which is why I started Actionable Truth media.
However, adopting a STRICT policy of “no advertisers, no sponsors, no affiliates, no investors...NO EXCEPTIONS!” means I cannot sustain myself so far through this type of work (unfortunately) so still do contracting in tech and digital marketing but now do that exclusively for small business owners and solopreneurs.
🤐 Taboo of the Week
What is a mainstream media topic, or an overlooked story, that you believe we are not allowed to discuss honestly—and why does it deserve our focus today?
I think these days most taboos have been broken when it comes to the Alternative Media space and anything and everything is on the table and can (and does) get discussed.
However, there is also a downside to that due to the “flood the zone” phenomena which results in many people who consume alternative media becoming overwhelmed and scattered.
From my perspective, the ONE topic which deserves the most focus is the roll-out of digital ID around the world. I refer to that as the “FINAL enslavement” because if that roll-out is successful, it is GAME OVER for free speech and any other freedoms (e.g. bodily autonomy) for everyone everywhere regardless of their race, political views or religious beliefs.
🧭 Becoming a Dissident
When and how did you transition into becoming an outspoken voice within the alternative media landscape?
It has been quite a journey and a process. I describe it in great detail here.
Was there a specific catalyst or an exact moment you realized you could no longer subscribe to the mainstream narrative?
Without a doubt, it was the Canadian Freedom Convoy and especially the extremely over-the-top (and outright violent) response by the Canadian government of the day. This was my personal “crossing the Rubicon” moment.
How did stepping outside the consensus impact your professional career and daily life?
When the vaccine mandates started in Australia, most cybersecurity firms chose to enforce it (either due to their own choices or because their clients had them in place). This resulted in me being effectively locked out from that industry and even after the mandates have ended, I did not want to come back to it as I was (and still am) disgusted by this industry and everything it has come to represent.
How has your work affected your personal relationships with family, friends, and former colleagues?
I am very lucky that my family and most of my friends are on the same page as me now so there wasn’t too much of a negative impact.
As far as former colleagues, they don’t want to have anything to do with me now, especially since I have become a lot more vocal and “extreme” (supposedly) in my views.
Did other independent thinkers or dissidents guide you on your journey? If so, who stood out to you?
There were a lot of independent thinkers and dissidents I trusted and even admired when I first started on this journey.
However, since coming to the realisation that the alternative media space is FULL of bad actors and controlled opposition (both witting and unwitting), I have adopted the stance that:
Personalities do not matter. Only the TRUTH does!
Saying that, I do very much respect the work of long form investigative journalists like Whitney Webb and Iain Davis, the academic rigour of David Hughes and the meticulous sourcing of James Corbett and try to model these aspects of their work in my own content.
I may not always agree with these people on everything but I know they are diligent thinkers who are careful to present conclusions only after conducting in-depth independent research and are being guided purely by FACTUAL information.
I also appreciate and try to model the mantra of the late conspiracy researcher William Cooper:
“Read everything, listen to everybody, believe NOTHING unless you can prove it with your own research”
What is something about your journey into dissent that none of us know?
Growing up in Israel, I was an avid Zionist until my awakening.
My views on that have changed dramatically as a result of:
What has transpired in Israel during the Pandemic as described here and here;
The events of October 7 which I have written about extensively; and
This documentary which was nothing less than a life changing experience for me...which is not a term I would ever use lightly.
🛠️ Dissident Activities & Behind the Scenes
Could you describe what a typical workday looks like for you?
There isn’t such a thing as a “typical” day anymore but it is usually a mix of doing client/contract work and work relating to Actionable Truth Media.
This involves prepping for or recording podcast episodes, Actionable Takes (which is content I usually paywall) and conducting research for various investigative reports I am working on. I usually have a few of those on the go at any one time and quite often it can be as many as half a dozen (or even more) simultaneously.
What is your methodology when it comes to research? How do you separate signal from noise?
It’s actually quite simple:
I rely exclusively on primary source material; and
If I can’t prove it using primary source material, I don’t present it as fact.
Do you invest significantly in subscriptions or support for other independent creators?
My plan from the get-go was to allocate 20% of all the net income (i.e. After I cover my expenses) from Actionable Truth Media into supporting (genuinely) independent voices and creators...provided they do not put out any AI slop.
Unfortunately, Actionable Truth Media has never had positive (or even zero) net income ever but I do hope it will change one day. Despite that, I do support a few creators with one-off donations.
I also used to support several Substack authors but since their fiasco with “age verification”, I refuse to support financially anyone through Substack given it means Substack themselves (and thus their major investors a16z) keep 10% of every dollar and it is my open stated intention to do everything in my power so that Substack ceases to exist! I explain my reasoning in detail here.
What are the hidden costs of running an independent media platform that the audience might not see?
IT is a cost (web hosting, maintaining an email list and various video editing and live streaming tools) and while there are ways to significantly reduce those costs (which I actively & aggressively do), this cost will never be zero or anywhere close to it.
The SINGLE MOST significant cost however is TIME. Long-form investigative journalism (which is the bulk of my work) takes a MASSIVE amount of time, both in terms of research and putting together the article itself. The time I put into this means I cannot use it for other activities (i.e. Earning money through other means) so the opportunity cost is very significant.
To what extent do you utilize AI in your workflow, and do you rely on premium AI tools?
My stance on AI is VERY clear cut and some may even describe it as ‘extreme’. It can be summed up in these points:
I DO NOT use any Large Language Models (LLMs) or any other AI for research, sourcing or verification purposes;
I DO NOT use Generative AI (GenAI) for creating videos, audio or images.
I DO & WILL deploy any technical solutions that are available already, or become available in the future, to at the very least block AI crawlers and will gladly participate in any initiatives and collaborations to intentionally “poison” AI at scale.
I will use AI to transcribe or translate video or audio but that’s about it.
Who are your own favorite dissidents or alternative media channels right now?
The alternative media outlets and content creators I follow today are very different than the ones I followed when I started my journey into this space or even when I first “woke up” so to speak.
Amongst the more well established names in this space, I appreciate and still regularly consume the work of Unlimited Hangout, Geopolitics & Empire, Johnny Vedmore, Kit Knightly at the Off-guardian and the Corbett Report (although I don’t always agree with James’s conclusions/takes on various matters).
Other names I follow are David Hughes, Maryann Gebauer, Collapse Life, Gabriel of Libre Solutions Network and of course my colleague and friend Ursula Edgington, who I collaborated closely with from basically day dot.
Over the last 18 months or so, I have also learnt to appreciate greatly the work of William Cooper and especially his (now legendary) radio show “The Hour Of The Time” which I aim to make more accessible to people by uploading as many episodes as a I can find as podcast episodes. Like with the other names I mentioned, I may not agree with the late Bill Cooper on everything but I very much appreciate the level of diligence and rigour he applied in his work and also the fact he had no issues admitting when he was wrong or was intentionally mislead. This is a very important character trait for any dissident as far as I’m concerned.
What is the best-kept secret about your day-to-day dissident activities?
I am not just a “keyboard warrior” and am actively involved in various freedom orientated initiatives in my local community.
What exciting projects or content do you currently have in the pipeline for your audience?
I want to expand significantly the production of Actionable Take episodes but given the immense amount of time each one of those takes to research and put together, including the associated show notes with all the references and resources, I can only do that if there is more financial support for that.
I am also still trying to set up a truly independent freedom-oriented full fledged broadcasting network (with its own platform and underlying infrastructure) as I outline here.
🔮 Looking to the Future
What is the ultimate impact or goal you are trying to achieve through your work?
I want people to TAKE ACTION rather than consume information passively and doom scroll.
I’ve outlined my vision on various aspects of governance and society in many pieces I’ve put out (with this one being just one example) but ultimately I am not married to any of those ideas or profess that they outline the only path forward.
I don’t claim to have all the answers (or even any answers) or know all the right questions to ask for that matter. I just want people to take concentrated and focused ACTION and do that collectively as this is the only way to move the needle in my opinion.
This is the ultimate reason for me doing what I do with Actionable Truth Media and this is also reflected in the name I chose for my platform.
Based on both your physical location and ideological perspective, what are the most likely local or global scenarios you see playing out in the near future?
We are at the ‘closing act’ of a plan that has been almost a century in the making under its current name (being Technocracy) but ultimately has been in place almost since the dawn of man.
There are only two possible scenarios as I describe in great detail here: Humanity prevails or is enslaved forever.
The latter means that Homo Sapiens will no longer exist and will likely be replaced by Homo Deus (Transhumanism).
What is one conviction you hold to be profoundly true that the vast majority of society would strongly disagree with?
I believe there is only one way the story can end for anyone involved in planning, orchestrating, executing and covering for what is the great democide in (known) human history. Anything less than that is not real justice as far as I am concerned.
This belief is reflected in the profile picture I have had on Substack for over two years now and in this t-shirt I sell in my Merch store.
I used to hold the view that the same outcome should apply to all the family members of the perpetrators or at the very least, forcefull measures should be put in place that their bloodlines are cut and do no go beyond the current generation but no longer hold that particular view.
💡 Closing Recommendations
If you had a direct line to those currently holding the levers of power, what would your message to them be?
Get your affairs in order. We KNOW what you have done (and are still doing now) and you are not coming out of this alive.
To paraphrase the famous quote from the Gladiator movie: “We WILL have our vengeance, in this life or the next!”
What is your final piece of advice or recommendation for the audience watching/reading this interview?
I want to echo again the approach expressed so eloquently by the late Bill Cooper:
“Read everything, listen to everybody, believe NOTHING unless you can prove it with your own research”
Or in my own words: There is a reason why our species is called HOMO SAPIENS (“thinking man”). THINKING for yourself and forming your own opinions is literally the price of admission to be part of our species!
