What is your name, where are you from, and where in the world are you currently based?
My name is Hrvoje Morić, I’m originally from Chicago, and am a proud national of the United States, Croatia, and México. At times I’ve tended to float around the planet, but currently I’m based somewhere in México.
What is your professional background, and what occupies most of your time today?
I have an undergraduate degree in History and Education from Northeastern Illinois University, followed by a stint in Mongolia as a Peace Corps volunteer, then went on to obtain a graduate degree in International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Previously, I have taught high school and university at one of the top institutions in México (Tecnológico de Monterrey) and Kazakhstan (Nazarbayev Intellectual School). From 2022 to 2024 I hosted my own live daily show on TNT Radio. Since 2024 I have been working full-time, for the first time in my life, on my Geopolitics & Empire Podcast, which had its genesis in 2012. Up until 2024 Geopolitics & Empire had been a moonlight hobby.

What is a mainstream media topic, or an overlooked story, that you believe we are not allowed to discuss honestly—and why does it deserve our focus today?
I might suggest the use of new AI technologies in the World Cup matches. In my opinion, it is another normalization of technocracy.
Otherwise my main topics of interest are globalism-world federation-world government (the regionalization of nations a la EU) and algocracy-technocracy.
🧭 Becoming a Dissident
When and how did you transition into becoming an outspoken voice within the alternative media landscape?
In the early 2000s I “went down the rabbit hole”, going through all the motions of 9/11, Alex Jones, G. Edward Griffin and the Federal Reserve, deep politics (e.g. Daniele Ganser, Peter Dale Scott), you name it, etc. I spent a number of years reading voraciously and watching countless documentaries.
I would say also that the Bible and prophecy was my conspiracy gateway drug as a teenager. I first read the Bible in its entirety three times repeatedly and consecutively from cover to cover. Prophecy teaches that one day a dark force, a beast, Satan, will subjugate the entirety of humanity which can only logically imply some form of world totalitarian government or dictatorship.By the late 2000s you can say I was maturing into a dissident, especially during my time in Geneva 2008-09. I was able to get a glimpse of the belly of the beast (e.g. UN, WHO, Lucis Trust). I met more dissidents along the way such as Aymeric Chauprade who had been blacklisted in academia. I had volunteered for Ed Griffin’s newsletter in 2008 and he eventually ended up taking me to lunch when I passed through LA in 2011. In 2012 I started my first YouTube channel “Dissident Thinker” where I Skyped experts into my classroom, the very first being Corporal Jesse Thorsen who had been illegally renditioned to a psych ward by the American secret police. My 2022 podcast guest John Whitehead was the lawyer who freed him. Three years later I re-branded to “Geopolitics & Empire”
Was there a specific catalyst or an exact moment you realized you could no longer subscribe to the mainstream narrative?
Yes, in the 2000s, when I gradually learned how the government and virtually all institutions lie about everything. This particularly happened when learning about “false flag operations” and then going through history and finding verifiable academic sources pointing out how so many wars and events were manufactured (e.g. Lusitania WWI, Pearl Harbor WWII, Hitler’s Reichstag and Gleiwitz Incident), Japanese false flags in Manchuria, Northwoods, Tonkin,, JFK, MLK, Gladio, Gulf War, Moscow apartment bombings, 9/11, 3/11, 7/7). I felt it was my duty to push back against the tide of lies and corruption. Since my field and profession happened to be education, I thought I’d do my best in my area and profession, in the classroom. Eventually, podcasting became a natural extension and outgrowth of academia.
How did stepping outside the consensus impact your professional career and daily life?
I suppose you could say the first real fun was during graduate school, when one of my professors, who was also a psychiatrist or psychologist, attempted to secretly psycho-evaluate me for simply having a dissident view on international affairs.
Years later, at my workplace in México, I had my university courses taken from me by a new “liberal globalist” department director for one or two semesters. For being a “conspiracy theorist”. Even though I had rave reviews from students. When that department director was promoted and moved on, the replacement department director returned my courses to me.
Recently, I was passed over for a teaching position, even though the school was really impressed with my CV. It’s possible that they took a look at my podcast and determined that my worldview was crazy, conspiratorial, and too unconventional.
I have also been de-banked on Patreon and PayPal by the state (US DHS, and EU NATO). I’ve also received an above average number of secondary screenings when flying back home to the U.S.
How has your work affected your personal relationships with family, friends, and former colleagues?
I try to espouse Christian principles and values and I generally get along with everyone, as I’m jovial and enjoy socializing and learning from others. I’ve lived all around the world and broken bread with rich and poor, from yurts in the Gobi to the hall of power at the UN. I generally haven’t had serious issues on the personal level, apart from possibly some acquaintances having distanced themselves from me of their own accord because of their “liberal globalist” religious indoctrination, as I call it.
Did other independent thinkers or dissidents guide you on your journey? If so, who stood out to you?
I like to say I’ve interviewed and/or met in person virtually all of my intellectual heroes. Ed Griffin, Ron Paul, William Engdahl, Daniele Ganser, Francis Boyle, Alfred McCoy, Patrick Wood, Krešimir Mišak, Croatian Admiral Davor Domazet-Lošo, veteran Mexican journalist Rubén Luengas, and too many more to name.
Of course, many of the Christian authors on geopolitics, globalism, and prophecy were of great guidance. Gary Kah, Carl Teichcrib, and Martin Erdmann come to mind, who have focused on the new age theosophic world religion and coming world federation.
The influences are many and they include the good, the bad, and the ugly. Some of them I have outgrown, as I feel some have grown too lukewarm over the years and even reversed course or backslid, and others, like Alex Jones, I feel, have made Faustian bargains with the globalist deep state. I have also rubbed shoulders with a few globalists, who only further helped confirm and entrench my dissident views. I met the “father of the North American Union” Dr. Robert Pastor twice when he visited our campus, and I believe I conducted the last living interview with him just before he passed, which is on my Dissident Thinker channel.
What is something about your journey into dissent that none of us know?
Honestly, you’ve got me stumped! I don’t have an answer for this question! Basically, what you see is what you get. I don’t really have any further interesting secret to reveal that I know of! Except, maybe...I did accidentally once sabotage an EU meeting as a staff assistant by plugging in my gaming computer (on which I was taking notes) into the outlet which blew the fuse and half the EU representatives were not able to use their monitors and speakers!
🛠️ Dissident Activities & Behind the Scenes
Could you describe what a typical workday looks like for you?
Well, basically, I hit the computer when I hit the computer, and then proceed to do twenty jobs in one! Answering emails and messages, checking the feeds, researching new guests, sending interview requests, getting rejected, not getting rejected, doing my homework for the interview (which can sometimes mean reading an entire book), recording the interview, editing and uploading the interview on multiple platforms, cutting clips and doing marketing, producing my weekly analysis, an occasional consultation, giving interviews, finding time to brainstorm to see how I can grow the podcast, etc.
Sometimes things break and I have to spend the day(s) troubleshooting (e.g. internet, power, computer, website, software).
What is your methodology when it comes to research? How do you separate signal from noise?
Well, first and foremost I try to stick with as credible a source as possible. And I prefer books, as I take them more seriously. Knowledge I think is easier retained when reading versus other media. I also like to have multiple sources that are credible to confirm a single thesis or theory or fact.
I also believe many people go to extremes, one end of the spectrum being “mainstream” and the other end being “fringe conspiracy woo woo”. Often I find the truth being nuanced and somewhere in the middle. If I’m uncertain, I’d rather remain uncertain than force myself to pick a side.
I try and look at the bigger long-term picture of events and our final destination (e.g. technocratic world federation). I pay less attention to daily news cycle issues, particularly related to culture wars or migration, as I find them to be more noise, and rather focus on the seminal events moving us toward a world system.
Do you invest significantly in subscriptions or support for other independent creators?
When I was working for TNT Radio on a full-time salary, yes, I made donations to independent media. However, since striking out on my own, unfortunately, I am virtually unable to afford subscribing to anyone else.
What are the hidden costs of running an independent media platform that the audience might not see?
Well, my business expenses last year were somewhere around $5,000 USD! Sure, some of it did include office equipment and office furniture that isn’t typically purchased annually, but there is also web hosting, computer hardware, numerous software and social media subscriptions, etc. It’s not THAT simple, cheap, or straightforward to produce a podcast. Sometimes I have to experiment in purchasing new services to try out, and at times I have experimented with advertising which is costly.
Then there is the cost of increasingly becoming a Politically Exposed Person (PEP) for this type of work, as explained earlier.
And the time it takes is effectively the same as a full-time job. Sometimes it can be less, sometimes it’s overtime.
To what extent do you utilize AI in your workflow, and do you rely on premium AI tools?
I don’t really conciously use AI. I’m not really enthralled by it. Since most of the core of my work is audio and video conversation as well as writing, I don’t really see a place for AI in that space, which I sort of find sacred. I cannot read AI nor listen to AI for serious learning. AI is fine for short and humorous clips. I am greatly disappointed in the increasing use of AI for writing and audiovisual production by people in the alternative media. I’ve tried, but I simply cannot read or consume their material, my brain freezes, as if it tells me that this is not natural...almost sinful. It is like trying to drink medicine that tastes awful. Not pleasant at all.
I don’t mind using AI for secondary activities. For example, I will upload podcast transcripts which are automatically produced by Substack into NotebookLM which automatically creates a one-paragraph summary of the podcast, which I do have to lightly edit. At times I will also use something like Canva or Grok to create an AI image, but those are not for my thumbnails, rather graphics for the newsletter or articles. I do find the AI Clip Genie very useful, and at some point would love to add that to my website, but it also costs money. I believe AI should not replace the core of your craft. Ultimately, I believe the core purpose of AI will be for surveillance and control. It is the next layer and stack of the military weapon known as the internet.
Who are your own favorite dissidents or alternative media channels right now?
I don’t really have a favorite, but generally I’m drawn to those with my similar worldview. Usually, Christian, but if not Christian, whose work overlaps in that area. Currently, these can include: John Lennox, Martin Erdmann, Patrick Wood, Carl Teichcrib, Jacob Nordangard. I’ve been enjoying Nicholas Hagger’s books as of late. James Corbett is stellar. I enjoy listening to Ruben Luengas, Pedro Baños, and Miklos Lukacs in Spanish. And Radio Mrežnica in Croatian, alongside Krešimir Mišak, Luka Goleš Babić, Davor Domazet-Lošo, among others. And in Serbian, channels like Mario Bojić’s Mario ZNA. I learn just as much reading the globalists themselves at times!
The issue is that nobody and none of us gets anything 100% correct, and so I consume a wide variety of material and often find that one dissident has one or a few things correct to my tastes, whereas I’ll disagree with their fundamental worldview (they might be a leftist or new ager), and so I’ll take the piece of expertise and truth they’ve developed, discard what I don’t like about them, and then combine that truth with those of other experts to form a sort of mosaic.
What is the best-kept secret about your day-to-day dissident activities?
Coffee?
What exciting projects or content do you currently have in the pipeline for your audience?
That depends on many variables that are always in flux. I dream of someday putting pen to paper for a book, perhaps an online course, maybe even a conference, we’ll see. Last year I started a Spanish edition of the podcast which I put on hold, and might be starting up again. But simply, I enjoy the podcasting.
🔮 Looking to the Future
What is the ultimate impact or goal you are trying to achieve through your work?
Ultimately, I’d like my work to point people toward Jesus Christ and what I believe to be the truth of the Bible. In light of eternity, everything else is just a meaningless flash in the pan.
Based on both your physical location and ideological perspective, what are the most likely local or global scenarios you see playing out in the near future?
I believe that we are and will witness governments continuing to progressively and totally lock humanity down through digitalization, technocracy, and algocracy. To the point we all end up in an electronic concentration camp and algorithm ghetto. Now, this system likely will be imperfect, but that is not necessarily any solace.
Beyond that, nation states will be subsumed and submerged into regional supranational technates like the EU.
From there, the regions will link up to the “overlord” (I’m using the imagery of Arthur C. Clarke’s “Childhood’s End”) and world brain (e.g. UN, Board of Peace, GGI, Bretton Woods, BIS, BRICS, WEF, Bilderberg, Trilateral, Berggruen).
What is one conviction you hold to be profoundly true that the vast majority of society would strongly disagree with?
That Jesus is the (only) way, truth, and life!

If you had a direct line to those currently holding the levers of power, what would your message to them be?
Have you no shame? How do you sleep at night? We know that you are lying and you know that we know you are lying and we also know that you know that we certainly know you know we know you are lying...but you are still lying! Repent!
What is your final piece of advice or recommendation for the audience watching/reading this interview?
Get some spiritual gold (Jesus), have no fear, give ‘em hell. Also, having some access to food and water outside the system would be good, hoarding as many hard assets as possible, and most importantly, maintaining a human social network as big as possible...make friends, be generous, and love one another! And kill your narcissistic egos...the hour is too late to be dealing with toxicity!
