🎬 Intro & Background
What is your name, where are you from, and where in the world are you currently based?
Ole Dammegård, born in Copenhagen, Denmark, now living in Bali, Indonesia.
What is your professional background, and what occupies most of your time today?
Former journalist, independent researcher, author, international speaker, musician, composer, and inventor. Right now I mostly focus on creating Selalu, a sanctuary here in Bali for Light-Minded and Light-Hearted friends.
🤐 Taboo of the Week
What is a mainstream media topic, or an overlooked story, that you believe we are not allowed to discuss honestly—and why does it deserve our focus today?
I would say more or less all areas of real truth. At this point, I trust absolutely nothing coming from official sources. Whatever "they" say is true, my normal reaction is to take a close look at the opposite side, since there might be something of value there—especially if "they" are trying to ban it.
🧭 Becoming a Dissident
When and how did you transition into becoming an outspoken voice within the alternative media landscape?
I kept a very low profile until 2009, when I became a regular—and very hard-hitting—guest on Talk Radio Europe, based in southern Spain but reaching more than 60 countries. Then I "disappeared" again until 2012, when I went full speed ahead and became known as "the hardest-working man in alternative media."
Was there a specific catalyst or an exact moment you realized you could no longer subscribe to the mainstream narrative?
In 1980, the very first time I saw the so-called Zapruder film, it became very clear to me that the official JFK narrative was an obvious lie. And if ‘they’ could cover a massive case like that up, what else were they capable of?
How did stepping outside the consensus impact your professional career and daily life?
I have had to change countries twice. I have been shot and almost killed several times, received death threats, had very unpleasant visits and endured massive cyberattacks, censorship, and the shutdown of many of my channels.
How has your work affected your personal relationships with family, friends, and former colleagues?
Some love me for what I have been doing. Others think I am a crazy cult leader suffering from a Jesus complex and wanting to save the world. It has been a rough emotional journey.
Did other independent thinkers or dissidents guide you on your journey? If so, who stood out to you?
Mike Ruppert, Chip Tatum, Cody Snodgres, Jim Marrs, Judyth Vary Baker, and, to a certain extent, David Icke in the late 1990s.
What is something about your journey into dissent that none of us know?
No idea—it depends on who you ask. I have been very open about everything, including highly sensitive matters such as my parents' double life connected to NATO.
🛠️ Dissident Activities & Behind the Scenes
Could you describe what a typical workday looks like for you?
I check my website, email, and social media, and if I am sent anything of real value, I make sure to download it as soon as possible, since this type of information is very often deleted within a few days. It is then added to my massive research vault, which now contains around 8 terabytes of material.
I am also in the process of completely rebuilding my incredibly large website, which has long been a goldmine of information but difficult to navigate and has been blown to smithereens multiple times through attacks. It is now very close to running like a Ferrari. I am incredibly grateful and happy about that.
More recently, I have taken a step back from doing interviews—around 1,400 seems enough for now. My sweetheart Kim and I are instead focusing on creating Selalu, organizing upcoming Bali retreats, and doing our utmost to help people both locally and around the world.
What is your methodology when it comes to research? How do you separate signal from noise?
I have been like Rainman for decades, specializing in finding hidden clues in the forensic evidence on crime scenes around the world, pointing to upcoming planned false flag attacks. But nowadays, with the entrance of AI in on stage, it is very very difficult to know what is real and what is not. This is also the main reason I have taken a step back, since I don not want to be pat of spreading information, that might not be true.
Do you invest significantly in subscriptions or support for other independent creators?
Nothing. I follow no one, but I try to help anyone in need.
What are the hidden costs of running an independent media platform that the audience might not see?
Especially when I have been under heavy technical attack, it has been extremely emotionally draining and very costly. The attacks can be highly sophisticated, and I have repeatedly had to hire really skilled webmasters to restore both the website and its database.
To what extent do you utilize AI in your workflow, and do you rely on premium AI tools?
I have only recently started working with Claude Code, which has been incredibly helpful. The costs of keeping my website healthy have gone down drastically. I am very grateful, although I also have a slightly strange feeling inside, since I don't really know who—or what—I am dealing with.
Who are your own favorite dissidents or alternative media channels right now?
I don't have any.
What is the best-kept secret about your day-to-day dissident activities?
I don't believe in having secrets, nor am I hiding.
What exciting projects or content do you currently have in the pipeline for your audience?
Selalu, upcoming Bali retreats, and educating a new generation of so-called Dammeguardians—Protectors of Truth and Transparency.
🔮 Looking to the Future
What is the ultimate impact or goal you are trying to achieve through your work?
World peace and transcending into Oneness.
Based on both your physical location and ideological perspective, what are the most likely local or global scenarios you see playing out in the near future?
No idea.
What is one conviction you hold to be profoundly true that the vast majority of society would strongly disagree with?
That we live in an inverted, upside-down reality. We are being told that we are failing as human beings because we are not happy in what is presented to us as paradise, while in fact we are going through a very tough spiritual boot camp in what might actually be hell. Our real Home is on the other side.

It is time to stop the madness and heal the world with love.
Grow a spine, find your backbone, and step out of the machine.
Let the truth become visible so it can do its true healing. Transparency is key.
